Climate action requires leadership. Not just from governments, business and industry, but from people in our communities too. Support climate action by becoming a climate leader in your school, work or community.
Become a leader
- Organize group learning activities such as:
- a climate action committee;
- climate action book club; or
- a lunch and learn series with guest speakers.
- Volunteer with a local conservation society such as CPAWS Yukon or Yukon Conservation Society.
- Organize a climate event such as:
- a Fridays for Future strike at your school; or
- a Climate Change Theatre Action event in your community.
- Explore a career in the trades and join the Green Economy.
- Take a climate change course at Yukon University.
